Pros & Cons
Pros
There is no residue left afterwards gumming everything up. Great to seal up antenna connector that are outside and exposed to the weather. No sticky mess on wiring.
It was not melted or pitted from road grit at all. It bonds to itself permanently, like silicon sealant, but with the handy characteristics of tape when you are applying it. It adheres to itself and creates a waterproof bond.
Cons
The water still leaks right through the seams on the tape, and i even double wrapped it. You have to stretch and keep it stretched while wrapping to activate it. It’s definitely thinner than other similar self-fusing silicone tape i’ve purchased.
In my opinion all the positive reviews are unwarranted. This role of tape is no good. Does not fuse to itself. Whoever is fulfilling the orders for this company is totally incompetent.

However its probably more than what an electrical contractor needs and much more costly
