I saw others complaining about this recently in a group, i’m not the only one. It’s super unfortunate because i was looking forward to trying this mat out. Disappointed with this new design.
We push it down, and the edges just pop up - breaking the seal. The suction is very poor and doesn't stick very well. Not sticking on table/high chair table.
The packaging is supposed to be reusable like a carrying case for the mat. Gets worse with each wash in that it even warps a bit when washed in the dishwasher.

Want to love this plate but between it not fitting on the tray on our high chair and the fact that it won’t suction to our wooden table i can’t say i love it

In fact we had to keep a separate unscented dish soap just for washing these because the first one we threw in the dishwasher absorbed the scent of the dish soap and it altered the taste of the food we put in it and we were never able to completely get rid of it

We didnt want that happening to our other 3 mats so we only ever washed these by hand in unscented dish soap
