They also dim nicelythey seem to stay a little brighter than other bulbs or maybe the purple just pops out more but it is a good look when the lights are dim and these purple stand out a little bit

Its a brighter bulb than an incandescent one and uses less electricity plus it doesnt get as hot

The lit bulbs are true to the color

The old bulbs wasted 5 watts each their paint faded and chipped after each season and they broke or burnt out too soon

These new bulbs only use about one half watt apiece are made of indestructible translucent red colored plastic remain cool to the touch last almost forever and are virtually indistinguishable from the old filament style clear glass bulbs
