Pros

Shredded small so easy to apply. Comes very compact. Pieces were chopped up nicely.

Bought for outdoor feral cat shelters. Used part of this bale to refill 2 outdoor kitty cubbies for my feral furries.

Bought it to use as substrate for oyster mushroom spawn. Have purchased ez straw for quite a few years to to use in my veggie garden and to top dress planters. It helps keep the weeds down and keeps moisture in.

Cons

The product description is very misleading.

But to use in feral cat shelters, it's worthless. It is completely useless for bedding in the cat shelters. This is not good for pet bedding.

Just straw dust and nubs. Mostly sawdust. Left over dirt and remnants of a straw bale.
