It won't slide on the vac tube enough to cover the square slot, so it looses suction. And the outside diameter of the brush is irrelevant as it could be anything depending upon the plastic to create it. Not a good aftermarket brush nozzle.

It gets in tight spots and the horsehair bristles are stiff enough to loosen debris that is lightly stuck to the surface

I’ve purchased other brush attachments before and when the diameter is too wide at the end for any of the attachments with bristles it loses suction

Not this one though works great because of the designed tube that goes into the the center and close to where the bristles are located
