Pros
This kit replaces the old faucet. There is a small leak in the neck where the union is. The house i’m listing to sell has a claw footing bathtub.
Cons
It appears that the weld where the piping meets the threaded area is very poor and leaks. Bought jb weld putty to fix the weld. After applying the putty the pipe still leaks.

The surround does not encircle the entire length of the tub but i suppose one could extend it

I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars for similar system since they can cost that much

After installing the system i came to the following assessment1 this system is very fragile and flimsy if you slip in the tub and fall do not grab the piping unless you want to replace the whole system
