If the inclinometer isnt working you probably havent disengaged it from the latched position or youre not holding the compass vertically leveled

Idk about the quality of its glowinthedark abilities but unless youre actually in an active combat zone and need to stay dark thats a pretty pointless complaint to make otherwise you shouldnt be hiking without adequate illumination in the dark where youre reliant upon a compass
