I even ran it through my hair and tried a few other things to snag a strand but nothing took.

These are very nice, made well and the length is great, my only disappointment is the silicone grips i do not like because they do not stay where you put them and your glasses can fall off, these grips should be made of rubber so they do not slide down to the end of ear frame.
