Pros
These tiny rubber rings are incredible. Easy to install & work great. Btw, a pair of these rings come with most of the small eyeglass kits sold at the grocery or * store check out.
These hinge tightener bands work well with a frame having 1/4 wide arms. They slip very easily over the earpiece and right onto the hinge, and, voila. Saves me trips to lens crafters for adjustments.
Cons
These "hinge tighteners" are ridiculously big. They are not big enough to fill the gap between the paddle and the frame.
Tried on 2 pairs of sunglasses and didn't come close to working. Not recommended for sunglasses with a wide side.

The pictures don’t show how they work but basically they sit around the hinge and create a spacer between the eyeglass arms and the frames
