The bristles are very soft and the handle has a comfortable grip. It's safe to wipe around the eyes without hurting him. Makes a huge difference in keeping eye stains from my mostly white exotic shorthair. Definitely recommend this for stains under ey... Read More

The q-tip is clean and its disposable. Makes it much easier to apply eye powder. Holds the powder and allows you to apply powder quicklyand it stays on better.

Cons

This brush is of little help applying the whitening powder to my dogs tear stains. The power gets clogged in the bristles and wasted. No results. A toothbrush works much better.

With the dark brush bristles i have no idea

With the brush i have to wash it after each use and even then i think the clean cotton swab is more sanitary
