Finally i worked up the courage to do it and i am in love with the results
The colors and the duochrome finish are absolutely beautiful and bring my switchsetup to a new aesthetic level
The quality of the shells are pretty good
My son was really happy with the overall look

If they could remove the tools and bring down the cost i would recommend that
Packaging/appearance
I had it only for a few months before i started noticing some wear on the joycons so i decided to swap out the shells
Was rather tedious to transplant the internals of the joycons into the new shells but the same can be said for any other shells
The other issue was the mold for the l side joycon was not as sturdy under the button so it sinks into the case
Competitiveness
The tools included are significantly higher quality than other joycon mod kits include
Overallgreat casings would definitely recommend if you have the patience and time to replace your joycon casing
A bunch of youtubers and other reviewers on here got me really scared of doing this people broke their joycons stripped screws etc etc
The rubber pieces in the original joycon are required

If you lack the experience just take your time or if you can’t be bothered any cellphone repair shop could easily put them on for you

I love the color of these shells however they are a very shiny plastic that attract fingerprints like no ones business
