These actually work for normal sized pearls/boba. Longbso they can be used with tall cups. Great for thick shakes and smoothies.

They're very sturdy, and the edges are all smooth. They're great because they have a wide opening where they don't get clogged if i don't blend everything up well.

The material is cheap type of plastic. Work but have a funky smell and taste. Very stiff and not a pleasant way to down a shake. Some of the plastic seems to flake off and shed.
