This buffing ball will throw out some threads

However it happens when you first use it and if you buff your hand you can probably get rid of most of the threads even before you touch the item you are working on

After the initial break in it did throw some threads but that was when i caught a corner or square edge and the buffing ball was catching on the table edges

After i finished waxing the tablesaw i threw the buffing ball into a garment bag and into the washing machine

I found that if i did an initial buff with rags to get the excess wax off the buffing ball stays cleaner and works better
