They clean, get into all the crevasses. I dip mine in mouthwash and make sure it’s dry after use. I use them for denture and they are excellent.

The handle is sturdy but what's the point if the bristles cant hold up? There are a million bristles and they're so tightly packed in. The bristles defeat the purpose.

It is not effective at removing the bacteria responsible for cavities/decay or gingivitis/perio. It's not capable of reaching deep down into the tooth to remove plaque and food remnants. Perhaps it would be best used as an after measure for polishing ...  Read More

It's possible it might clean better if you scrub, but that defeats the purpose if you're getting this brush for receding gums. It's so hard to clean out the bristles after brushing, it clings to the toothpaste.
