The tubing works well and also fastened together well. The extender keeps the water away from the foundation of our home. Hose is small so we were able to offset the brick edging to allow it out and there not be a gaping hole.
Cons
The nds grate does not sit flush, it’s about 1/4” above the edge of the basin, or super snug. The hose clamp is useless and the hose will not stay on. Not only is this drain to thick to go under most standard gutter downspouts that are installed on to... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Works as described especially with the rainstorms that recently happened
It blends in well with the ground
The grate shipped with the unit is fine for a garden area with rare foot traffic but not much more
To cope with the water and silt i needed a better drain hence the catch basin
Packaging/appearance
I am purchasing an additional hose connection in hopes that i can direct the water from the sump pump which is profuse into the drain
Competitiveness
I bought this in addition to a same looking item at home depot for the same price
