Needed to burn some cds so came to amazon and sorted by price because the optical drive in my computer is bad

Also as other reviewers have mentioned this will burn audio discs and files like mp3s for newer cd players and will read and let you watch dvds i recommend using vlc to do so but is not a dvd burner

But you may need to install a player software which can play dvd if theres no one in your computer
