Ncv detector isnt very sensitive and is always on earlier this year i purchased an extech instruments ma435t 400a true rms acdc clamp meter plus ncv off of amazon

The unit sat in the original packaging for about a month wherein i noticed that the ncv indicator light would constantly blink with any movement or vibration even when nowhere near a power source leading me to question this meter’s reliability
