Best toy ever. The continuity check lights up and works perfectly.
Cons
The product works reasonably well as long as you are not dealing with bundled wires. Lack of sensitivity makes this nearly worthless for anything but exposed wiring. Only good note is came with 2 9v batteries.

The product works however the signal is weak after just 50 ft of wire
My issue was the apartment connected the same cable to the bottom and the top phone jack with the cat5 cable on the same wall
Found the junction box opening on the outside of the wall with the two perfectly good wires waiting to be hooked up and covered by stucco
Competitiveness
I had 8 cat5 cables going into the service box in the closet in my apartment
Working with cat5e i connected the tone generator directly to one pair of wires
At the other end the probe could find the signal however only if the pair of wires was on the same side of the cat5e cable as the probe
The 110v outlet hasnt worked in 2 years took 15 minutes to solve problem with this tool

When i first got it i was under the impression that you could just hook up one of the clips to one wire and trace it but the problem is that the other unconnected wire sort of “takes over” and the tone in the connected wire is super weak
