The cover does have a i guess youd call it a gasket that does seal these voids though

When i first put the cover on there was still a gap see picture but this had since settled and it has not been a problem

Isnt tight enough along bedrails in back 3rd section so it leaks in the rain

However the rear edge started delaminating in june 2017 so i called extang on thursday and sent them photos
