Pros

Firesteel is housed in a water-tight seal. The ferro rod is replaceable. The striker on both of my exotac nanostrikers work on all 4 corners of the striker.

Very very hard to produce a spark even there replacement rods *. Very few sparks.

The striker is way too small and the ferro rod hardly threw any sparks. Maybe the one i got has a bad ferro rods, but fials miserably.

So even though the product wasn’t for me or all that great in my opinion i do appreciate they were willing to make it right

Note that the striker should be used with the long side parallel to the rod when you use it

Competitiveness

The ferrocerium stores in its tube to keep it protected and to prevent jingling keys from causing a spark

It will be replacing much bulkier firestarters on my emergency key rings carried in each vehicle

I have purchased two of these and three of the much lower cost version
