I thought this would be a sturdier material than it is but i find that it doesnt matter much to me what material it is made of definitely a plasticy feel to it but since you never pick it up and it looks like its ceramic it really is an irrelevant gripe

I like the way it holds knives and scissors it is sort of cheap looking plastic though

I bought a knife set that came with a block then kept acquiring better knives that wouldnt fit in the block
