They are especially useful with a mandolin slicer. As far as when holding my dicing or slicing knife it is pretty good. Great for safety when using a knife or mandolin.

Cons

Gloves offer absolutely zero protection against sharp, hard needles. They transfer temperature as if you had no glove on. Most importantly they run very, very small.
