Pros
Throw and gro is an excellent product for planting a deer or wildlife plot. Lives up to its name, no plowing necessary.
The product works as advertised. Read package instructions for best results. Highly recommend this product.
Cons
The rest including rye didn't even come up.
The description says 5lb bag, but don't say what it covers. Mowed it & turned the soil over. Spread it evenly over an area of less than 1/4 acre and none of it came up.

I over seeded a little which was user error but im happy with the results needless to say
Bought another bag to do another spot i have but awesome awesome product
Make sure you dont have leaves and dead grasses blocking the contact with the soil
I was skeptical with the first bag i bought and did a few test areas to throw down the seed

So i bought it again here price was cheaper then tsc

Deer were eating it as fast as it could grow i suppose

The pics are 23weeks after throwing down seeds also i didn’t use a spreader just threw them out by hand

I dumped the seeds in a smaller area than what the package will cover as i dont have 11000 sq ft

The area is in partial shade and only gets a few hrs light right now

Just cleared off the area and scratched the surface with a steel rake and in roughly 2 weeks it already stated sprouting

I transform an old field corner into a food plot so there is already native grass present that i scalp directly after throwing this product out

As far as an attractant it’s more of a ritual stop in the deers pattern daily they’ll come through and browse for a few minutes before moving on
