To turn on the dipped beam alone takes a quick click on the buttonswitch to start it out in low then another click gets you medium then a third click gets you high

Im also rather scared of the mount as it is what looks like a hybrid of the chinese rubber ring mount and the new but not dependable rubber strap mount of the niterider lumina line
