Pros & Cons
Pros
Size is just right and it's beautifully responsive. Easy to programme too. Installs itself but the extra software is useful.
Overall is a good ergonomic mouse. After researching carefully for a couple of evenings, this is the one that i chose. I prefer the smaller one as it fits my calm comfortably and i am a bit more nimble with it.
The mouse has a shape that supports the pinky finger, which is also quite nice. It’s rather “fatter” than many other vertical mouses which makes it more comfortable to use. Every so often i alternate between this one and a semi vertical mouse.
Cons
To press any of the *, you essentially have to squeeze the mouse between your thumb and fingers. This increases stress on the hand/wrist. The materials used for the * seem to attract all manner of grime. I can't get used to the right-click being the 3... Read More
Delayed reaction followed by extreme jerkiness and unpredictability on all'speed' settings. This happens sporadically, with no real rhyme or reason to it.
This is a premium priced item and i expect more. Refund is not available for products purchased through a reseller (not through our online store). Which echoes what the sales of goods act 2003 states.
Highlights
Quality
I used to the mouse almost immediately so i cannot complain from very different or difficult adjustment to the product
I experienced no user problems with the differant buttons to use and was able to work seamlessly from my old standard mouse to this one
Ive tried with the logitech mx vertical but i dont like the fact that the base of the mouse is slightly raised
High quality mouse ft for purpose but let down by software support for mac users one would expect better from an expensive quality product
Price
Given the amount of time the i use a mouse and the unpleasantness of pain in my handarm the price is peanuts
Packaging/appearance
My past mouse perixx mx2000 was great and i had esc delete and s keys programmed
Competitiveness
Once evoluent software is installed it comes into its own and knocks the competition for six
I have used an evoluent upright mouse at work for many years and now bought this one for home use as well
Many people suffer from the same evoluent announced that they are working on a fix as from september 2017
