Pros
It is smooth on the desktop when most of the others are not and evreything is where it should be without being overloaded with pointless extras. Cursor are easily configured.
The material is good. Also, very well constructed. It's well built and responds well.
I am so happy that i decided to try the evoluent mouse as it has improved my computer use tremendously. I have been pleased with it, and ordered a second one for myself.
Cons
Poor tracking means that you need to grip the mouse tighter. The wire drags it and makes it difficult to position the cursor. The scroll wheel is dire and i would not recommend it even to my worst competitor.

However there is a single word of caution the large sometimes also described as standard is quite large and actually too large for my reputedly large hands but with short fingers

The small version which is surprisingly more expensive may better suit if this is too large for you

If personal circumstances make a standard mouse difficult for you this may be the solution but you will then have to accept the expense or get someone else to pay for it
