It can be done but if you are walking next to a horizontal line like a wall or railing you will notice the bobbing of your walk on screen

The camera either points at your feet or the sky and i cant figure out how or why i would use that mode

The lock mode works best for me i can pan more smoothly with the joy stick than by turning the gimbal handle in the first default mode
