Pros

When you finally beat a scenario -- either solo or co-op -- it feels as gratifying as completing a nyt sunday crossword. The use of fate dice really shake the game up. Mechanics are solid, it is very challenging.

For any dresden files fan and gamer, it's a no brainer. It's my fall back series to read or listen to when i'm bored. Artwork is great, reminiscent of the dresden comics.

The cards are high quality and the art is great. The packaging is also great. Everything arrives in great shape. My only issue is with art consultancy.

Each book has foes and investigations that match what harry faced in the story, as well as obstacles he had to over come in the book. Characters have cards which showcase the talents and strengths they have in the stories to help you overcome the chal...  Read More

Cons

The game is devoid of any of the excitement and cinematic action of the books. But that's not really what they do in the game. I dislike this game for the same reason i dislike marvel legendary, there seems very little connecting the gameplay to the s...  Read More

Game is based on the dresden files, but there is no sense of theme. There is a dice mechanic added to the game which could have been used to make up for this, but it falls flat. This makes the showdown basically feel like a waste of time.

The rulebook is kind of confusingly written and the cards were in multiple decks but arbitrarily so—content wise they were jumbled and there was no clear explanation in the rulebook as to what cards were for what which made setup really confusing and take longer than necessary
