I ended up busting out the glass remov

This is probably a workable housing with a long focal length lens but its definitely not for anything with a wide angle lens

Trimming the housings rubber lens diaphragm would not have worked for the plastic tunnel through which the camera lens peerswas too small in diameter to avoid vignetting even if the entire led assembly was removed and the lens placed physically as far forward as possible

Even worse the led leads are not trimmed and further increase lens distance
