Pros

The vast assortment of different stitches is awesome and i can't wait to use them! I love that it is related to the bernina family. I'm delighted that a company produced such a feature packed machine at an affordable price.

Must have needle up/down, scissor thread cut function, speed control, and an extension table. Easy to wind bobbin and easy to load the bobbin. Auto threader is an extra plus to me.

The decorative stitches make fun crazy quilt stitches, seam finishes, and edging. Especially for quilters. Currently working on machine quilting a 72'x72' quilt, with no issues.

This machine sews better than my bernina 770 qe and didn't cost the price of a third world country. Smooth and quite, it makes sewing a breeze. The motor seems strong enough so far its stronger than the fw.

The sparrow 30 turns heads with the pretty color and rose gold accents. I like the color and it sews ok. The newer sparrow 30 is also green and they have renamed this one and lowered the price. The color is nicer than the same old white color most mac... Read More

Cons

This is the worst machine i have ever had. It is inoperable. It jams up very easily. The manual is not intuitive at all.

Winding the bobbin perfectly is nearly impossible and with fussy threading that leads to * stitches. The threading feature is spotty in it's ability to thread on the first try. Sometimes it will thread quickly but shred the thread so it cannot be used... Read More
