As far as the color discrepancy everyone is mentioning these gloves definitely appear either blue or purple in different lighting

They look purple to me but as you can see by my photo they appear blue in certain lighting

They are pretty durable ive caught em with forks before and they didnt rip though they dont hold up to knives well

The color looks more blue violet in person as opposed to purple shown in the picture

I wouldnt say that these are a great value for the price as it seems relatively easy to find other similar weight nitrile gloves which i would expect to be the same quality as these at a lower price though perhaps not with the convenience of amazons delivery
