Pros

Lid is flexible, making it easy to lift back for adding or removing items from the water bath. The hinge is perfect for opening and adjjusting/removing the bags while cooking. Must have for the serious sous vide cook.

Using with chefsstep joule and 12qt rubbermaid. Lid fits snugly around the joule and snaps tight to the rim of the rubbermaid 18qt container. Fits the 12 qt rubbermaid container perfectly.

Joule snaps securely on my cambro. Easy to clean up. Goes straight into the dishwasher.

The lid preserves the water and the heat as designed. Also, they do an ever better job of limiting evaporation. Exactly what was needed to help maintain temps.

Cons

The container is only filled with plain water which has been heated to no more than 123 degrees fahrenheit. Very disappointed with product durability. I hope rubbermaid will provide a satisfactory resolution to this unsatisfactory failure.
