Its difficult to see the differences from the box due to the bangs and hood but theyre there

I cant describe many differences of the two outside of the boxes but can say the bracelet and ring are not present on the rerelease and the basket does not have a print on the top

Buying off amazon there is really no way of knowing whether you will get the original or a rerelease so if that concerns you that should be considered before buying this doll or any of the basic dolls

Dolls other than the basic dolls such as the party line ones are not rereleased

The only thing i dont like about this doll are the stains on the hood which i actually discovered from blog posts are the glue leaking out of the dolls head

The dolls are beautiful but you cant change the clothes

Im even happier that i got a first run cerise because the second run version of her just seems lacking
