It has no lock so if you press any of the clock buttons it will change the time

But if your purpose for this is only the timer id say go for it but if you plan on using it as a clock make sure you put it up where it wont get bumped

This timer is still going strong still using the same battery i put in it in the beginning it doesnt ever power off

I simply applied one to the back of the timer over the magnet then stuck it to my station
