The answer would be yes but only if you have a homepod or another audio device linked to your homekit app

So now if i’m not home and the sensor is triggered this will tell the homepod to blast an alarm sound until i stop it

When the sensors are split you get a notification to with iphone ipad apple watch or even the ios ipod i would think too

We use them to i curtail the heating in rooms with eve thermos when the monitored window is open ii to monitor windows that are often left open to indicate to someone setting the house alarm that not all windows have been closed and iii to highlight when the garage door has been left open as not visible from the house

The amazon listing clearly states in the title and throughout the description that this is supposed to be the thread enabled version which is only supported by the 3rd generation 2020 model devices
