Pros & Cons

Pros

This is a satisfyingly stout footrest, yet it glides easily on the adjustable 'hinge' i'm sure the weight and the rubber covering over part of the base helps. It's super sturdy, love the non slip surface and feet.

Product is perfect for shifting me into an ergo gnomic seating position. Had really helped my leg pain. I sit at a desk a lot and i've always had issues with my feet falling asleep.

A * board is a must, if you work at a computer for long hours. This one could be a little higher, however, it is not too high and the * is adjustable.

Cons

The footrest slides the carpet floor when a small amount of horizontal pressure is applied. The metal frame is lightweight but feels cheap. It needs a rotation locking mechanism.

It has grips on the top for my feet and on the bottom so it does not slide on our plank laminate flooring as my feet press against it

Not too expensive and has already relieved a lot of my back and hip pain

Don’t bother wasting your money on a cheaper version

I bought two one for each foot which i wouldnt have done if it had cost much more

Competitiveness

That said there are no foot rests on the market that i could find that are much wider

It doesnt slide because of the rubber on the feet but its light enough to move it without getting up

Im shorter in height and not able to adjust my desk and chair so that my feet are supported

Should have some better slide resistants on the bottom

I honestly don’t notice the foot rest and when i do it’s because it’s really hard to reposition the foot rest forward or back

But once i set it at my usual sitting posture it’s like it’s not there

Probably some wd40 would make it smoother but on its own that’s usually the “ergonomic issue” i run into
