    Yes the rain fly only goes one way but thats so its not so hot and so its not covering the vent

    The tent zips securely closed and even in a very bug infested area and leaving the tent all day i came back to only one or two small ants inside and no giant spiders or mosquitos

    The sealed part of the tent has a flap that can be propped open with a small piece of plastic with velcro on the end thats sewn in

    And the overhang around the zipper changes halfway around the door forcing you to take your time zipping which ultimately will prolong the zipper life however should you find yourself being chased by killer bees do not run into your tent you will die before you get the door partially unzipped

    Some of the major shortcomings of this piece of gear are that there an insufficient number of ad those that there are a cheap and soft aluminum they will best be replaced if you expect to camp in serious conditions and there are not enough to properly lash down the rain cover

    I had an old cheap polypropylene tarp in the garage that i cut to size for a ground cover and was all set
