It works well transitioning from our wood floor to the rug. Operates quietly (not silent) and does go from carpet to hard floor to rugs easily. Works great on both hardwood and carpet.
This thing is a life changer. Works with wifi or remote.
The robo vacuum is fantastic. I find it a good product.

Cons
It makes a horrible rattling noise every time it goes on my hardwood. One on the unit, on one the charging station, and a flashing wifi light. Back to my manual vacuum.
It has tremendous trouble getting on and off our low pile rugs. It will clean one area for so long, it dies before getting to the other rooms. Overly sensitive to small quirks in the floor.
