The first scale i received actually had a problem but the tech support team at etekcity was very helpful and they replaced the scale free of charge.

The scale seems to measure weight fine, but you have to press the display 5 or 6 times for it to become active.

The only issue, which was my fault, is that due to the constant tripping over the scale, until i found a better place for it, was that the wiring that connects the led to the battery had eventually broken at a solder joint.

This is not due to any fault of the manufacturer since the scale wasn't meant to be flopped around on concrete like a giant tiddlywinks chip.
