Good quality product but i have struggled to set it

This is quite a cheap booster and it doesnt boost the range massively but i am happy with it from a costbenefit point of view

I bought mine specifically to act as a repeater and the simple 5 step set up was as follows1 on the back of the device theres a number of labels with information about the device note down the ip address and the default user password2 plug in power up and then look for and connect to the wirelessn router in your wifi settings as you would if you were connecting to a new router or public wifi of some kind

Click this and the device will search for any wifi signals in range when its finished select your home wifi from the list and this will take you to another screen where you can put in the password for your home network5 important step change the ssid name of the device second box down to read the same as your home wifi eg

The devices are versatile acting as a wifi extender or a wireless access point or the use i usually have for them a sort of wifi dongle to wifi enable devices like youview and tv boxes that have ethernet but no builtin wifi

Works ok and great price i have sky hd and pressed wps button to setup not sure now if it did that easy plugged it into lan port on my computer and noticed default address is 192
