Pros

Base/mount supports the weight of the grain in the hopper (plastic carboy) mount mates the hoppers to the mill, and has ramps that direct the grain into the mill roller gap.

Cons

Whatever process they use to load the spools is terrible and results in the filament jamming, snapping off, and causing prints to fail constantly. Instantly broke my sv06 hotend. Ran this print 5 times trying every trick in the book with absolutely 0 ...  Read More

Filament winding on the spool is horrible. If i want the part the plate quickly (rapid prototyping) it takes quite a bit of effort to remove it from the build plate. The filament got tangled on every revolution. Otherwise, it's 'eh' filament.

Will not be buying esun black pla+ anymore. Same sku number - different color. Buyer beware this company can change their filament colors at any time and without warning!

Quality

I like the adhesion and the quality of printing

I was new to 3d printing and found several other brands didnt have as good adhession nor did the quality come out as good as esun

About the product itself esun pla is my favorite pla brand

If i can get it to maintain adhesion with the bed and figure out the math to adjust scale to combat the shrinkage ill be very pleased

Shipping

Only thing that the spool cracked slightly either during shipping or when i dried the filament

Packaging/appearance

This filament is very strong and durable and comes in outstanding packaging

Competitiveness

Im using a qidi xmax 3 and its been giving me very good results no matter what filament i put in it

Have had less issues with esun filament

Amazon says the company has less than 100 employees esun has thousands

You can tell is an original esun product
