The unit conveniently does not automatically turn on any light if youre not interested i say convenient because some diffusers automatically turn on the light and you have to flip through all the colors to turn it off so its nice that this one starts off with out the light and if you want light you can choose to push the button to turn it on

The diffuser works great and keeps going until you either turn it off or it runs out of the water then it shuts itself of

Of note there is always water left over after it shuts itself off

I only took the cover off while running to show for the video i do not recommend running it without the cover as it gets very messy with water

The noise it very minimal it sounds like a little fan motor if you are more than about eight feet away from it you can not hear it
