It will stay on for whatever time limit you choose however by pushing the mist button but does not come back on after a period of time

The 2nd picture attached to the review is the bright blue setting while the last one is the less bright setting the camera didnt blow out as much

The diffuser is very attractive and the wood grain looks nice in the living room looks much better than some of the cheap plastic looking ones

Also love that it has a fast and slow setting will run up to 10 hours and shut off automatically when is empty
