We bought this for use with a wheelchair for my 92 year old motherinlaw hoping it would work well with the wheelchair but the strap that is meant to hold it is place does not expand far enough for it to hold the lumbar support cushion is place it falls every time the person gets up out of the chair

But it does work for a good lumbar support cushion when used for driving but again the strap is too short to stretch over the car seat

If you want one that will work with most any chair or seat make sure to get one that has a two piece belt that latches together behind the chair or seat but even then beware of the length of the adjustable belt

The only negative thing is the strap broke putting on chair otherwise a firm supportive aid

Just be forewarned that its pretty thick maybe 434 deep

So it might not work in a chair thats shallow front to back
