This pan is not the smooth type of cast iron that scratches up and easily oxidizes

Now and then id come across a kitchen that had a builtin smokefree grill which i thought was the cats meow

The convexbased pan makes all the difference assuming youre going to use it indoors it would work fine outdoors as well say on your gas grill pour a little bit of water in the outside groove of the pan where the side meets the bottom

The outside is finished in a nice dark red color and the inside has some sort of black enamel on it

The center of the pan is convex so the grease runs down away from the food and collects in the edges of the pan
