Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a replacement grinder for a krups gvx212, which was a very satisfactory first burr grinder. The only con i find with this grinder, is the shape of the hopper relative to bean type. This grinder works perfectly.
Disassembly and reassembly are initially challenging. The trick is to pay attention to the ring inside the grinder. Once you get the tip about reversing the ring from another review here reassembly is easy.
Both upper and lower burrs appear to be more finely machined than on the infinity. Consistent and controllable grind quality, at a very competitive price. This is the grinder to get if you're looking for something that is easy on the pocket.
It's still somewhat loud, but not as loud as our old grinder. Much quieter than other units.
Cons
This grinder is practically worthless. If you make espresso pass this grinder up.
It's hard to clean, as other reviewers have stated. Maybe it was calibrated wrong at the factory. It is nearly impossible to adjust - the marking being difficult if not impossible to read.

I dont like super strong coffee so set the side dial on the espressione grinder to 3

It sticks up just enough to grab it after grinding to dump into the coffee maker

However one of the main reasons i purchased this one was because it was supposed to come with an antistatic grounds container for the grounds and mine definitely does have static and clinging grounds even after i tap it a few times to get the grounds out

But theres no way to clean in the area where the grinding cone is mounted nor in the areas where the ground coffee travels from the grinding cone to the collection container

Except the very common static problem
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
As the beans grind gravity alone sometimes isnt enough to replenish and you have to tap it a few times to continue grinding

Nearly all coffee bean grinders leave small grind residue all over the place and have to be cleaned often
