Pros

It sounds great through the marshall alone, but it comes alive through the diezel herbert. Has a perfect weight to it and is nicely balanced. This thing sounds amazing and plays fantastic!

Abalone fret inlays and outline of the guitar make it a step better than the 256. The locking tuners are great. Holds tune perfectly.

Cons

The action at the nut is extremely low. If you play, this will thing is very stiff. Looks nice but sounds like cheap. What a joke.

I was amazed at the quality of the 256 and now the ec 1000 will absolutely blow you away

I fell in love with the matte black finish and the gold color hardware

Glad i went with the higher end option

It doesnt have the sweet tonal quality of the lp but thats not what it was made for

Competitiveness

Well worth it over a 500ish price range

If that’s not your thing when you’ll want to do a pup swap or find a luthier that can do an 18v mod like i have in mine
