Pros
Living in the atlantic northeast salty air can be a nightmare for non-stainless knives. Feels hefty and should hold up well. Works great, sturdy.
This knife is perfect for a fixed edc blade. The sheath fits snuggly but not too tight and you can add the belt clip to the sheath if you want to clip it to a pack or waist/belt gives you a lot of different accessories to configure this knife.
Well balanced compact knife for backpacking. I wove parachute cording through it in a braid to make it a sortof survivalist type thing. Lightweight but bomber hunting knife.
It sharpens easy and maintains a solid edge. The whistle actually requires the use of paracord to hold it together. Using a chefs choice to sharpen it.
My second esee izula. Great little knife. Incredible knife. Awesome blade.

Im now 6 months into carrying the izula
If you want to put you pinky in it and drop it to let it dangle like say during skinning to peel hides then get the izula ii
This is my third esee knife i have the esee 6 esee 3 and now the izula

There are a few different kits for this knife and while the paracord handle seems very cool i feel as though the black plastic handles are more effective

It isnt anything special but it is small and if you dont already have these items it might be worthwhile to attach them to your sheath but most of the people who like this knife probably already have better version of the items in the kit

I took this knife on a hike along with my multitool and honestly i was a little disappointed

This knife is probably better suited to heavier tasks like processing firewood not cutting cordage or carving a stake for a tent

Notthe sharpener becuase i sharpen my spdyercos on it and they hold a better edge

So about every 2nd day i run it over the second stage of the chefs choice and strop the wire off
