Pros & Cons

Pros

The grip is perfect. The handle fits my hands. The palm swell and handle curves feel nice.

Toughness and longevity is what you get out of esee products. S35vn is a great stainless steel. It is normal for the coating to wear with use. The tan/beige on stainless is irresistible.

Sharp, stainless, fits great in my hand. Skinned then processed a whole buck the other night. Unsafe to novices, sharp.

Feel is great, very sharpe, and looks beautiful. Steel is phenomenal, the canvas micarta scales feel awesome. Obvious quality in materials and workmanship.

The sheath works perfect and holds the knife very snug without having a difficult draw. The retention notches down some, so the knife is easier to deploy. Nice sheath and belt clip.

Cons

The factory blade grind on this knife is terrible! On one side you have a normal even grind and on the other it looks like whomever did that side had their eyes closed. Extremely uncomfortable handle for even the smallest wood work.

The esee 4 in s35v is not as strong as the 1095 but has much better edge retention in addition to being stainless

Wwii sailors knives were built beefy to accommodate prying open crates during shipping and cutting through nautical rope and i have no doubt this esee blade could do the same work

The sheath rubs the micarta scales and leaves a mark but that’s standard on any fixed blade
