Pros
Scale converts to cups-and-tablespoons as you weigh. Display shows you how much of the ingredient, by cups and tablespoons, you have spooned in.
Taring among different containers works very well. Push the tare button and add your next ingredient. This scale is perfect - lightweight, a small footprint, the weight plate removes for cleaning.
For the price, checkout oxo. It is not cheap, but imho it's worth every penny. Write a review.
Second escali i’ve purchased. First lasted about 10 yrs. Surprisingly, no battery leak. Love features but first one the 9 volt connection was broke.
Accurate enough as determined by my calibration weights. Very accurate and very reliable. Only reason it did not get a perfect score is that sometimes it gets finicky.
Cons
The volumetric measurements are so inaccurate that it guarantees messing up a recipe. If you have this expensive scale you can determine the volume of an ingredient by looking around to find your special laminated card.

So i bought the ac adapter after reading several reviews that said the scale functions much better with it especially if you are weighing multiple ingredients and resetting the tare between each addition
